Pekka is co-founder and Director of CVON Innovations. As President of Nokia Corporation (1999-2005) and President of Nokia Mobile Phones (1992-1998) Pekka has had a broad ranging role within Nokia Group. During his 20 year long career with Nokia, he has been pivotal in identifying strategic new business ideas and stimulating long term growth opportunities. He has also spearheaded the development of new business and innovative surveying. Pekka serves on the boards of SAP AG and Pöyry Oyj. He is also co-founder and CEO of Blyk; an advertisement funded mobile operator.

A highly respected individual Pekka is an honorary Doctor in Tech.h.c, Tampere and Science h.c , Helsinki, and is a Knight, 1st Class of the Order of the White Rose of Finland.

Antti is a co-founder and Director of CVON Innovations. He is also co-founder of Blyk; an advertisement funded pan European mobile operator. Antti has over 25 years experience as a senior manager in branded goods, retail and wholesale, publishing, film and advertising industries. In 1991 Antti was appointed Managing Director of Film and TV production at WSOY one of the leading publishers in Finland. He has since gone on to produce a number of award-winning documentaries, corporate and marketing films which have won plaudits in the USA, France, Finland and Germany.

Antti is the co-founder and chairman of Contra Advertising. He is also a chairman or board member for more than 10 companies; a well-versed speaker, Antti is a regular at lectures on global marketing and brand issues for international audiences.

Alan Moore is the originator of the term, philosophy and principles of Engagement Marketing and Communications.

Alan’s recent book (Communities Dominate Brands) has provided an international platform for him to address, radio, television, conference and digital audiences globally. Reviews of his book and his articles have been published many respected magazines, journals and newspapers globally.

His consultancy SMLXL works with major brands on engagement theory and practice.

He is an executive director of Mass Niche Media Ltd (Social Media Solutions for Global Social Networks), a board director of the Social Marketing Intelligence company Xtract and he teaches a Mobile Social Networking course at the Oxford University for Further Education.

Tomi T. Ahonen is a bestselling author of six books in technology, mobile, convergence and marketing, who lectures at Oxford Universitys short courses on these topics. His theories and concepts are widely accepted by the industry and is referenced in 35 books by other authors. Previously employed by Elisa and Nokia, Tomi currently offers consulting services to Fortune Global 500 companies worldwide. He writes a widely-syndicated blog at Communities-Dominate.blogs.com. Tomi is based out of Hong Kong.

David is currently the CEO of Contra - an innovative communications studio, based in London. He has over 20 years experience in advertising working at both Leo Burnett and Wieden + Kennedy, on some of the worlds biggest brands.

Although coming from the UK, he has worked extensively in Asia - Hong Kong, Korea and Japan. He has also worked extensively in Europe, based in Amsterdam for seven years before coming to London last year.

Janne Aaltonen has more than 15 years of expertise in the telecom industry. He runs CVON Innovations and sets out long-term business plans for the company.

Before joining CVON, Janne was Director of Business Development at Nokia, where he was the founder of the mobile television business and the main innovator of the concept.

Janne holds a PhD in telecommunications and is a recognised innovator with more than 200 patents or patent applications in various fields of mobile services. He was selected as the engineer of the year 2007 in Finland.

Sami has over 10 years of experience in managing and developing IPR portfolios. At CVON Innovations, Sami manages and advises clients on IPR filing activities, including filing strategies and associate selection.

Previously he worked at Nokia IPR in a senior management position as IPR External Associates Manager, managing globally external patent attorneys, handling the drafting and prosecution of the Nokia patent portfolio. Before joining Nokia, he advised and represented a number of clients in various IPR matters as a patent attorney in Finland.

Rama qualified as an accountant in 1983 and has spent 24 years in financial management. He began his career in Oman, before moving to London where he joined a practice of chartered accountants, specialising in working with clients in the media and entertainment sector. Rama then worked at Ortmans Young, television branding and strategy consultants, before joining Contra Group, an international advertising agency, as Group Finance Director in 1998. At CVON, Rama is responsible for financial strategy planning and control.

Rama holds a Master of Accounting postgraduate degree from the University of Dundee and a Master of Business Administration from Manchester Business School.

Christian Bunke has more than 10 years of experience working with the exploitation of Intellectual Property in multinationals, consultancy and start-ups. At CVON Innovations he is responsible for developing new business opportunities on a global level.

Prior to joining CVON Innovations, Christian worked at CPA in consulting and off-shoring. Before this, he was Business Development Director at SmartBead Technologies. He has extensive experience in business development, licensing, due diligence and venture capital.
